IP Vila Mariana

The Presbyterian Church of Vila Mariana has history, as there are many that even the elderly, are still present and participating in its many activities. But this is also because their young and mature people are active and keep zealously the work of the Lord. Indeed, with the grace of God, will have a future, for our children and adolescents, who are in large numbers, have been taught and indoctrinated in the principles of the Word of God and involved in this great work of God.

We are a Church that has experienced significant numerical growth throughout its history and today is the largest Presbyterian Church in São Paulo (capital) with about 1,200 communicant members. Its ministries and domestic companies are industrious and dynamic. All areas are cared for and assisted. Societies of children, adolescents, and young ladies have their weekly activities. There is a ministry of Couples for Christ, in order to strengthen and bless the homes. The musical life is intense, with children's choir, female Madrigal, male choir Maranatha young choir and IPVM coral, and other ensembles and an orchestra of strings and woodwind.

Another important area is that of evangelism and missions. We have a camping ministry, based on our Nook, Rev. Gomes Pérsio of God, a property of 10 acres with first-line structure, where meetings are held, camps, seasons and other evangelistic character activities. The missionary vision is deep and wide, and participation in maintaining 14 missionaries in Brazil and eight abroad. Planted 8 churches throughout its history, and participated in the planting of other partnerships, having now two congregations under their care.

The IPVM has fulfilled its mission to honor and serve God, reaching people with the Gospel of Christ, to accept them, with love, the family of believers, helping them to be mature and fruitful, equipping them for service Lord, based on principles of the Word of God written.

His vision is fixed to be a living Christian church, persevering and fervent in prayer, worship and fellowship. Keep an evangelization that generates quantitative growth and biblical teaching transformer, which leads to qualitative growth. Offer place where practicing praise in holiness and art, welcoming, valuing and restoring people and the family, carrying with relevance in society where.

As the psalmist; We say, "Great things the Lord did for us; so we're happy. "(Psalm 126.3). In fact, there are few or small and the benefits of God for us over these 74 years.
